Civic leaders seek to keep NFL in downtown St. Louis, while team may be looking at sites in St. Louis County.
The St. Louis Business Journal reported that with the payment to the Rams, the CVC now projects a $2.5 million operating loss for fiscal 2013.
At issue is the lease at the Edward Jones Dome and what it will take to keep the NFL team in St. Louis for the long haul.
