Gov. Jay Nixon today signed an executive order activating the Missouri National Guard to support law enforcement during any period of unrest that might occur following the grand jury’s decision concerning the investigation into the death of Michael Brown.

Nixon said that once the decision is announced, the state highway patrol will work with St. Louis County and city police as one unified command. The National Guard will also be available if needed.
St. Louis city police say the suspect is a 26-year-old female.
The victim was hospitalized with two broken eye sockets, a broken nose and broken teeth.
It has happened over and over – bands coming through St. Louis and their vans are broken into, meaning thousands of dollars of equipment and personal items stolen.
St. Louis police are searching for a driver who fled the scene after a fatal crash.
All four shootings took place on Interstate 70 between downtown and the inner-belt from Sept. 4 through Oct. 20.
