A special visitor brought good news to a grade school in North St. Louis. Gov. Jay Nixon at Bryan Hill Elementary School announced test scores district-wide are up 18 points.
John Cuneo was scheduled to go to trial this week on charges of first-degree child molestation, sexual contact with a student by a teacher and first-degree attempted child molestation.
The ruling focused on a case in which a parent wanted the then-unaccredited St. Louis Public School District to foot the bill for her children to attend the neighboring Clayton schools.
20,283 kindergarten through 12th grade students attended class today, a 10% increase over last year’s attendance of 18,397.
