One administrator told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that they’d say, “Please come to the office, Abraham Lincoln” over a loudspeaker as a signal to stop cheating while visitors were in the building.
Supporters say the bill would help ensure districts can keep their best teachers.
The nonprofit centers would serve children attending any St. Louis public school in which a majority of students scored less than “proficient” on the most recent statewide assessment.
The bill addresses students attending the unaccredited St. Louis and Kansas City School Districts.
