House Speaker Tim Jones said he’s heard from Missourians who are “deeply concerned” about the allegations against former Agriculture Director Jon Hagler.
Dave Evans of O’Fallon was a legislative assistance for Jones at the time of the incident. His 9mm pistol was found atop a toilet paper dispenser in a men’s restroom at the Missouri Capitol.
Capitol Police identified the owner as David Evans, a staffer for House Speaker Tim Jones. There was one round in the chamber and six more in the magazine.
