Two Northern Illinois counties have been declared disaster areas by Governor Bruce Rauner after surveying damage from two tornadoes.
Police are looking into circumstances leading up to a shooting Thursday evening in O’Fallon in which a juvenile was shot.
Two men with ties to the New Black Panther Party who were reportedly plotting to bomb the Gateway Arch are indicted by a federal grand jury in St. Louis.
Police say a 15-year-old juvenile and a 21-year-old man have been arrested.
“We had leads pouring in not only from the area here, but as far away as the East Coast departments trying to assist us,” chief Jon Belmar says.
A St. Charles County man is facing charges for allegedly throwing two knives at police officers from a second-floor window.
It started as a fight between two women inside the Pink Slip Topless Club in Brooklyn. When two men joined in, the bouncer kicked them all outside – that’s when up to 15 shots were fired.
No injuries reported, it appears nobody was home at the time.
