Ulysses S. Grant
Grant’s Farm is entering its 60th season. The park opened in 1954 when August Busch Junior opened the property to the public.
Twenty-three took the oath at a ceremony held Friday at the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site in St. Louis County.
A local historian was doing research for his second book and discovered that about 2,000 Union soldiers camped in the village for two months at the start of the Civil War.
