Measles Make it to Illinois; How Safe are Children in St. Louis?

“If a baby gets the measles, it could be absolutely devastating,” says SLU Care pediatrician Dr. Ken Haller. “That’s why it’s just really incumbent on everyone to make sure that anyone who can get vaccinated, does get vaccinated.”


8/29/11-Dogs rescued from so-called puppy mills during recent raids throughout Missouri are now up for adoption at the Humane Society of Missouri office on Macklind. The chichihuas, Shih Tzus, Maltese, Poodles and other breeds were saved from deplorable conditions at breeding facilities in Phelps, Cole, Dunklin and Lawrence Counties. All have received veterinary treatment and vaccinated, and each has been imbedded with a microchip ID. Missouri Senate Backs Rabies Shots for Dogs, Cats
