A woman stuck in a half submerged van on a flooded road south of Mascoutah, Illinois has been rescued.
Spokesman Jeff Ochs told KMOX a pick-up truck drove straight into floodwaters on Firma Road near Highway 79 around 5 a.m. and got trapped.
Robert Salsberry, one of two men who jumped in after the boy, said the force of the raging river sucked the boy into a nearby culvert pipe.
The hunters called for help around 3 p.m. after they became trapped by flood waters near Boiling Springs, south of Licking, Missouri.
