A Missouri woman can’t feel too bad about her near miss in the record Mega Millions drawing from last month.
The Illinois Lottery Superintendent says the lottery will work with the winner to conceal their identity “if there are good and rational reasons.”
Thirteen in Missouri won $10,000 each by matching the Mega ball and four white-ball numbers.
Someone who bought a golden Mega Millions ticket in northeast Kansas is now the state’s all-time jackpot winner, but lottery officials said Saturday that the person hadn’t come forward to claim a share of the $640 million prize.
“It’s just unbelievable. Everyone is wanting to know who it is,” said Denise Metzger, manager of the MotoMart
The wining ticket was drawn on February 8th.
The 69 year-old woman bought the quick-pick ticket at a Kum & Go convenience store in Springfield.
