The Pageant, located in the center of busy Delmar Boulevard, is the brainchild of entrepreneur Joe Edwards. The small, intimate venue opened its doors in 2000 and has been hosting a plethora of unique and interesting shows ever since. Check out some of the national acts that the pageant draws, or stop by for a smaller local show. The Halo Bar, attached to the Pageant, is a popular spot to sip a drink and grab a bite to eat before a big show. Hours: Monday through Sunday, 3 to 10:30 p.m.

The Fox Theatre, located in the Grand Arts District in Midtown St. Louis, is one of the oldest theaters in the St. Louis region. The Fox Theatre, fondly known as the “Fabulous Fox,” opened its doors to sellout crowds and mind-blowing entertainment in 1929. The upscale venue has been impressing patrons ever since. Nowadays, one can expect to see anything from acoustic concerts from national acts to Broadway-produced shows on the giant stage. Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
