Located approximately 30 miles south of the Gateway Arch, the Pevely Flea Market is one of the biggest in the region and is open every weekend, year-round, regardless of weather. Hundreds of vendors sell their wares in the indoor market square and shopping mall or at one of the outside vendor locations. Locally grown fresh produce and Missouri-made products in the spacious Farmers Market help make Pevely Flea Market one of the best flea markets in St. Louis.

Holiday hours may vary and are posted on the Web site. Regular hours for shopping mall and office: Wednesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Feed My People organization runs its own thrift store, with a second location at 3295 Ottomeyer Road in High Ridge, Missouri. Feed my People clients who qualify are given special discounts to the already bare-bones prices of the donated items in the store, and others who can’t pay at all are helped, too. Spend enough time searching and you’ll likely find a bargain, plus you’ll have the added bonus of knowing you helped support a worthy charity.

Please check out the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Stores. 4 locations in St. Charles, Dellwood, Ballwin and the main store in South City. Store hours for St. Charles: 9am–8pm/ Donations accepted 10–5pm (Mon–Sat). New bed sets (Queen, Full and Twin sizes) and bed frames are available. Products also include furniture, clothing, shoes, books, housewares, linens and other items. Proceeds go to benefit the various programs of the St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Louis. God Bless!

The Pevely Flea Market is closing for good on October 30, 2011. The owners are saying the can’t keep it open in the current economy. Very sad, many people counted on the flea market for extra income.
