The Pink Galleon Billiards & Games
1243 Castillons Arcade Plaza
Creve Coeur, MO 63141
Pink Galleon has everything you want in a billiard hall. There are lots of tables, so there’s never a long wait. Other pub games to play include darts, ping pong and air hockey. When you see the surprising number of tables covered in pink felt, you’ll understand the name of the joint. It’s a typical dive (smoking is still allowed in the bar) but with a twist of flavor and personality. Pink Galleon sometimes hosts live bands at both the Creve Coeur and South County locations.
Cuetopia II Bar and Grill
11824 W. Florissant Ave.
Florissant, MO 63033
If you’re looking for pool tables with a club atmosphere in the Ferguson/Florissant area, give Cutetopia a try. The cavernous space offers plenty of pool tables and dart boards. You can get all of your favorite pub foods here, too, but the real attraction is live music, DJs and the dance floor. If you like your pool halls slick and urban, you’ll love Cuetopia.
Pints and Rails
8924 Watson Road
Crestwood, MO 63119
This relatively new strip-mall establishment in Maplewood has a lot going for it. It’s not your typical smoky dive pool hall. Smoking isn’t allowed in the brightly lit space, however Pints and Rails is a full-service bar. The pub offers drink specials, ladies nights, college nights, karaoke nights and the usual host of bar events, as well as serious pool leagues. It’s a neighborhood tavern that offers tournament pool alongside darts, sporting events and other pastimes.
Cue & Cushion
2425 Woodson Road
Overland, MO 63114
Cue and Cushion is a pool table retailer that also operates a billiard hall. If you’re looking for a billiard table for your rec room, Cue and Cushion can not only sell you one but provide expert installation and set-up. Interested in a personal cue? You can get advice in the store and even take your best candidate into the billiard room to test it out. The billiard room offers its own leagues and tournaments, as well as private lessons with a certified instructor. This is also the place to shop for soft tip dart boards in St. Louis, as well as tables for poker, foosball and other rumpus room activities.
Riverbend Billiards and Grill
909 E. Broadway
Alton, IL 62002
If you live on the Illinois side, or close enough to cross over easily, you already know that most things are cheaper there. A couple of hours of shooting pool in Alton will only run you about $10 or $15, instead of the $40 you’re likely to spend in STL. Riverbend Billiards also has the advantage of being in Alton, which means you can stop by the legendary Fast Eddie’s for a beer and some cheap grub on your way in or out of town. Riverbend Billiards offers a huge space with lots of pool tables for individual or tournament play, plus a separate room for the bar and grill.
