Cape Girardeau Police Shoot Suspect Allegedly Armed With A Knife; Audio ExcerptA man is dead following an officer-involved shooting in Cape Girardeau Wednesday night. According to reports, the Cape Girardeau police officer was investigating a report of suspicious activity at a home in the 600 block of La Petite Court and found the man holding a knife. The suspect reportedly came toward the officer in a threatening manner and was fatally shot.
