ST. LOUIS, MO (KMOX)Another major piece of Cory and Darain Atkinson’s US Fidelis fortune has been auctioned off for the benefit of their creditors.

The latest to go is the yacht Darain Atkinson had at his Grand Cayman home, for $ 300,000.

Creditors’ Committee Attorney Dave Warfield says that brings the total raised from asset sales,  including the Lake St. Louis Mansion and Lake Tahoe and Lake of the Ozarks homes, to $21 million.   Warfield says that puts the process a little ahead of schedule, “We’ve had more luck in selling some of these assets sooner than I thought we would be, but we’re getting the prices I thought we would for the most part.”

Still to be sold are the Grand Cayman home, two  boats at the Lake of the Ozarks, an over 15,000 square foot home in Wentzville, two smaller homes in St. Charles County and “tons of flat screen TV’s”, gym equipment and game room items from the US Fidelis headquarters. Also still to go are some of the Atkinsons’ cars, jewelry and other items.

Warfield says many of  the items will be sold in an auction at the former US Fidelis headquarters, probably in March or April.

He hopes to have the sales process completed by mid-year and begin paying creditors shortly thereafter.
