FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOX) –  Police are looking for a man who robbed the US Bank on North Illinois Street in Fairview Heights Monday morning.

A man walked in just after 9:30 and handed the teller a note indicating he had a weapon, although one was never displayed.

The man fled the bank on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

He’s described as a dark-skinned black male in his mid- to late-20’s with some facial hair, standing 5’8″ to 5’10”, wearing dark pants a white long-sleeved shirt, and black ball cap with sunglasses.

US Bank is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
