Kevin Wheeler is out tonight, which leaves the Sports Open Line in Ron Jacober’s hands. Ron comes to us live from Porter’s Steakhouse in Collinsville, IL.

Hour One
The Sports Open Line gets a jump-start with the breaking news on the Blues’ ownership. Team chairman Dave Checketts announced that the Blues are for sale. Ron takes your calls and gets your take on the matter. We also hear from our own Tom Ackerman on Cardinals’ baseball.

Hour Two
Ron gets a chance to talk with Jay Rood. Rood is the Sports Book Director at the MGM Resorts in Las Vegas. They talk about NCAA and the exciting month ahead for basketball. We also touch base with Barry Melrose. A former NHL player and coach himself, Melrose now provides hockey commentary for ESPN. Perhaps he can share some insights on today’s sale.

Hour Three
The last hour of the Sports Open Line is cut short by Blues hockey, but we can’t think of a better way to kick off the game than with more talk about the Blues. Ron checks in with Chris Kerber, and we get to hear an exclusive interview between Chris and Dave Checketts.
