UNDATED (KMOX) – It’s not as bad as first predicted, but the St. Louis area is still in line for snowfall accumulation.
A “Winter Weather Advisory” is posted for noon through midnight Saturday.
Weather Channel meteorologist Michael Palmer predicts rain and snow to develop around midday and change to all snow by evening.
He’s predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow could pile up before the storm ends—possibly a little heavier to the west.
The snow won’t last too long, though. Palmer’s forecast indicates Sunday’s high will be in the lower 40’s, with a chance of rain.
