OAK BROOK, Ill. (AP) – Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich is offering the youth of America his take on getting involved in politics.

The ousted governor is delivering a keynote address Saturday morning to high school students participating in a two-day national convention on politics at the DoubleTree hotel in the Chicago suburb of Oak Brook.

Blagojevich is scheduled to speak to students from the Junior State of America program on the realities of modern politics and what he faced as a twice-elected governor. He will also answer audience questions and participate in a ‘Jeopardy!’ game to raise money for victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

Blagojevich was recently denied a motion to cancel his upcoming corruption retrial. It is set to begin April 20.
