ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Another bridge demolition in the city is forcing the closing of a local interstate. I-55 is shut down between 4500 Broadway and Carondelet for the Holly Hills bridge demolition.

The bridge is around 50 years old and needs to be replaced. The new bridge should be completed by October. I-55 in the area should reopen by 5:00 a.m. Monday.

Three northbound lanes of I-270 closed at 8:00 a.m. this morning between Gravois Road and the I-44 interchange for bridgework.  The lanes will reopen Monday morning but a work zone will be in place there for the next six weeks.
