Pinckneyville, Ill. (KMOX) – The process of selecting a jury for the Christopher Coleman triple-murder trial resumes this morning in Pinckneyville, Illinois.
Thirty-eight of the roughly 70 people questioned last week made it into the jury pool. Attorneys are hoping that within a couple of days about another dozen or so will make that cut. Eventually they’ll narrow the list down to 12 jurors and four alternates.
The trial is scheduled to begin a week from today in Waterloo.
Coleman is charged with murdering his wife and their two young sons in their Columbia, Illinois home just under two years ago.
