ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — The musical line-up for Fair St. Louis and the two weekends following the fair are set.

The Steve Miller Band will kick off the first night of the fair on July 2nd.

His hits include “Fly Like an Eagle”, “Jungle Love”, and “Take the Money and Run”.

The next night, July 3rd, Maroon 5 performs.

Newly announced Thursday morning was the “Celebrate St. Louis Summer Concert” line-up — Bell Biv Devoe on July 15th and Gavin DeGraw July 16th.

The following weekend, Keb Mo will perform July 22nd and Barenaked Ladies take the stage on July 23rd.

The 134th Veiled Prophet Parade steps off at 10 am on July 2nd with the theme “A Night Out”.

Honorary Grand Marshal will be Dr. Henry Givens, who recently announced his retirement after more than three decades as president of Harris-Stowe University.

    Is that the artwork they supplied or did KMOX do something to it? Why can’t we read the name of the bands (?) in the upper right hand corner and lower left hand corner?

    absolutely uncalled for… the big boys close MUNY that holiday weekend. And stupid. To lose 40,000 paid and very satisfied MUNY fans, from St. Louis and out of town, is Civic Progress arrogance, demonstrated once again. Wrong. Open MUNY Fourth of July weekend.
