WASHINGTON (KMOX) – Senator Roy Blunt says he’s seen the photos of Osama bin Laden’s corpse, and doesn’t think it’s necessary to make them public.
“I think the decisions made about burying him at an unknown destination at sea, but with proper respect for his religion,” Blunt said. “I think all those things were done right.”
Blunt calls the photos “conclusive” evidence of bin Laden’s death, but also says he believed the DNA tests, and testimony from Navy Seals which carried out the mission.
He’s a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, which was invited to CIA headquarters to view the photos.
