FERGUSON, MO. (KMOX)– A St. Louis County man is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action for allegedly shooting at his cousin after an argument inside a Cracker Barrel restaurant on New Halls Ferry Road.

Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson says two cousins began arguing over business while at lunch in the restaurant late Monday morning. He says the argument became heated and the two went outside, where one of the men fired eight rounds as the other ran away.

49-year-old Arthur Jordan of Florissant is jailed in lieu of $50,000 cash bail. He did not yet have a listed attorney.

No one was struck and Jackson says it’s possible all of the shots were fired into the ground.
