WENTZVILLE, Mo. (KMOX)-A top Boeing executive is poised to purchase one of the homes of former US Fidelis co-owner Cory Atkinson.

The house at 302 Atkinson Way in Wentzville had been listed at $3.6 million. George Roman, who is Boeing’s vice president for State and Local Government Operations,  has bid $2.8 million.

If there are competing bids the home will be auctioned off August 2.

All proceeds from the sale will go to pay off  US Fidelis creditors.

Cory and his brother Darain surrendered numerous properties as part of the US Fidelis bankruptcy agreement. Both face state charges related to the company, which sold extended auto warranties.
