ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — There have been quite a few bank robberies in and around St. Louis this year, but one Thursday was a bit different from the rest.

It happened at a blood bank.

Police say the suspect walked into the Interstate Blood Bank on Delmar around mid-morning Thursday, pulled out a weapon, and jumped over the counter.

He demanded cash and the employees complied.

The man then ran out a back door and disappeared.
