ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — The St. Louis Cardinals will play the Chicago Cubs this weekend, but another Chicago team has their eyes on St. Louis.

Trade talks between the Chicago White Sox and the Cardinals have heated up recently according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch and outfielder Colby Rasmus is at the center of it all.

The 24 year-old is batting just .241 this season with nine home runs and 36 runs batted in. He recently lost his regular starting job in center field to Jon Jay and the Cardinals are hoping to move Rasmus for pitching help.

According to the report, “negotiations with White Sox general manager Kenny Williams have accelerated with the Sox able to dangle pending free agent pitcher Edwin Jackson or left-handed reliever Matt Thornton.”

The report also said the Cardinals are interested in some of the White Sox’s minor league prospects.

Thanks for your blog post. I would like to say that your health uicnranse dealer also works best for the benefit of the particular coordinators of any group uicnranse cover. The health uicnranse professional is given a directory of benefits sought by a person or a group coordinator. Exactly what a broker can is look for individuals as well as coordinators which will best match those desires. Then he shows his ideas and if all parties agree, this broker formulates a contract between the two parties.
