ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOX) – The president of New Frontier Bank in St. Charles County says the bank family is “quite concerned” over the disappearance of founder and CEO Joseph Crenshaw.

Kris Weidenbenner says the 57-year-old Crenshaw was last seen leaving work Tuesday afternoon.

Weidenbenner says foul play is not suspected,” It’s important that our customers know and understand we’ve done a review of the bank’s accounts and have no evidence of anything missing or impropriety.”

Weidenbenner says Crenshaw has had stress-related problems in the past, and colleagues are hopeful he just decided to get away for awhile.

Crenshaw’s wife reported to police that her husband took golf clubs, fishing poles, and medication with him.

She filed a missing persons report with St. Charles police.

Anyone who has seen Joe Crenshaw since Tuesday is asked to call police at 636-949-3300.

He may be driving a 2008 4-door maroon Kia Amanti with Missouri license plate PE8-HW2.
