SIKESTON, Mo. (AP) — Five southeast Missouri residents are facing drug-related charges after a methamphetamine lab bust in southeast Missouri.

The Sikeston Standard Democrat reports that the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Department received a report about the meth lab and went to a home in East Prairie on Aug. 13.

Sheriff Keith Moore says officers found items used to make meth, along with processed marijuana and a marijuana plant.

Those arrested range in age from 17 to 34. Four of the suspects face preliminary hearings on Sept. 14.
