MOLINE ACRES, Mo. (KMOX) — Detectives are reviewing surveillance video in their effort to solve a late night murder of a man outside a north St. Louis County convenience store.

Investigators don’t know yet if the incident that led to the killing started inside, or outside the Moline Acres Mini-Mart at Chambers and Lord.

What they do know is that several shots were fired in the parking lot at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and one man was hit at least once.

Instead of calling for help right away, the victim’s friends took him to a home in the 10100 block of Duke in the nearby Castle Point subdivision. That’s where he died from his injuries.

Detectives say several people were involved in the shooting, but they don’t know how many or if a second victim is unaccounted for.
