    Charlie – This morning, about 9:10, you were interviewing a man who has refused his supposed 4% wage increase. As I recall he was a county official from Illinois, a “government job”. That raise was stated to be $4K./yr. He stated he turned the raise down because he considers his job one of “public service”, and that there were a lot of people out there with “real financial problems”, today.
    YOU praised him for all the WRONG reasons.
    Here’s the REAL scam – That raise amount tells me he is earning $100K./yr. That job in the private sector would probably pay NO MORE that $60K./yr. Think he would have turned it down at $60K/yr. Sounds like the “City Counsel” boys in California doesn’t it ?
