UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. (AP) — Police in the St. Louis suburb of University City say a suspect in a string of burglaries was caught after a homeowner reported finding him frying bacon in her kitchen.

Kenya Ealy says she returned home after an errand and found 36-year-old Damon Petty of St. Louis cooking breakfast.

Ealy says the suspect initially tried to keep her out of the house by trying to hold the front door shut. But Ealy and a friend managed to tackle and subdue the man and call police.

Petty is charged with first-degree burglary. Police are scrutinizing him in connection with other home burglaries.

Petty does not have a listed home telephone number. It’s not immediately clear if he has an attorney.

Why are they trying to call him on the telephone? Isn’t he in jail?? If not, shouldn’t he be?

These peeps that spout it is only property and no reason to use violence or kill. You have no understanding or real life reality. The items I own are my property but were not free. I had to work to buy them. I had to take time away from my life and my family to spend in a job to buy them. Some of my things took hours and hours and even weeks or even years of my life to pay off. When someone steals your property they are not only taking your property they are taking little parts of your life. No one, No one ever will take part of my life without a fight.

Diversity, yet another violation of our rights. Add it to the list of gov’t violations of our rights:
They violate the 1st Amendment by placing protesters in cages, banning books like “America Deceived II” and censoring the internet.
They violate the 2nd Amendment by confiscating guns.
They violate the 4th and 5th Amendment by molesting airline passengers.
They violate the entire Constitution by starting undeclared wars for foreign countries.

What I want to know is did he get to finish eating it or did the cops have it with their donuts? Was the bacon taken into evidence or returned to the homeowner? Between this and the dog story, I am wondering where St Louis gets their reporters. There’s really nothing more important going on down there?
