ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Police are searching for a man who walked into a Missouri Baptist Hospital stole a wallet and racked up a bill.

It happened Friday September 9th.

Investigators says a black man entered an unlocked office in the hospital and stole a wallet from a purse.

Immediately after stealing the wallet the suspect used the stolen credit card to buy a 55″ flat screen TV from the Best Buy in Brentwood. He then used the credit card at several Walgreens to purchase Visa gift cards.11 2084 broadway female1 e1317318152517 Theft at MoBap, Credit Card Stolen

The stolen credit car was also used by a unidentified black woman at the Walgreens on S. Broadway. She also bought Visa gift cards.

The same couple are suspects in a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department investigation in which a purse was stolen from St. Alexius Hospital and the victim’s credit card was later used to purchase Visa gift cards. The suspects were seen leaving the store in those cases in a late model silver Chevy Malibu.
