FRONTENAC, Mo. (KMOX) — The Governor of Texas, Rick Perry, flew under the radar as he made a quick stop in St. Louis to Fundraise Thursday.

Both the current and former Chairmen of the St. Louis County Republican Committee were not aware of the $2,500 a plate fundraiser held at the Frontenac Hilton.

The Perry Campaign played their cards close to the vest and did not make the Presidential hopeful available for interviews. Republican Congressional Candidate Ed Martin tells KMOX he attended the luncheon, but not the fundraiser.

Some other big names were on the fundraising list; August Busch III, former Ambassador to Belgium Stephen Brauer, and Rex Sinquefield.

The Perry fundraiser drew about seventy donors.
