St. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – An unidentified nun was attacked as she walked down West Pine Avenue in the Central West End Monday morning.  She’s recovering and the man who attacked her is locked up facing multiple charges including a second degree robbery.

24-year old Darrell Hardin came up behind her,  hit her twice and made off with her purse. Police were able to track him down thanks to a service station attendant who thought Hardin was acting strange when he used one of the Sister’s credit cards to buy gas.  He gave Hardin’s license plate number to police; they arrested him one day later.  Hardin was out of jail on bond on a domestic assault charge when the attack took place.

OMG! There’s truly no honor among thieves. Urban thugs are now attacking and robbing nuns! These are dangerous times in St. Louis.
