ST. LOUIS–(KMOX)– A well-known north St. Louis minister has been on life support, following a massive heart attack last month.
The Reverend Earl Nance Junior of the Greater Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church is past-president of the St. Louis Metropolitan Clergy Coalition and has been active in the charity Heat-Up/Cool-Down St. Louis, which helps the poor with their utility bills.
The 58-year old Nance is also an ally of Mayor Francis Slay.
The Post Dispatch is reporting that Nance had been on life support for 22 days following his heart attack and that his kidneys had since failed. His doctor was quoted as saying, “It’s going to be a long road to get him back healthy.”
