ST. LOUIS COUNTY Mo. (KMOX)-Police thought they had the man who robbed an Affton bank Thursday afternoon surrounded, but he got away.

A white man wearing a dark ball cap backwards, and a paisley bandana over his face, held up the Regions Bank at Gravois and Weber Roads at about 3:00 pm.

He implied that he had a weapon, but never showed one.

The suspect’s described as about 5′-7″,  with a thin build. He was wearing a jeans jacket and dirty white gloves.

Police cordoned off an area near the bank and thought the suspect was in that area, but they never found him.
