ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – For the second time in a row, the St. Louis Rams are turning to the Atlanta Falcons organization to find a general manager.
St. Louis Post-Dispatch and KMOX Rams insider Jim Thomas reports Falcons personnel director Les Snead was offered the job on Saturday and he accepted.
Snead will succeed Billy Devaney, who also worked in Atlanta prior to becoming Rams general manager.
Jim Thomas reports Snead is well-liked in the NFL and is known for watching a lot of tape of prospects. He was among the first three candidates to interview for the job.
