ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Residents of a Crestwood neighborhood are back in their homes after a drug bust at a neighbor’s home.  About a dozen homes in the 700 block of Fieldcrest were evacuated around 11:30 Friday morning.  Residents were allowed back in about two and a half hours later.

Police say the action was taken because of their concerns over chemicals used to make methamphetamine.  Undercover officers in Haz-Mat uniforms were brought in to bring out bottles and other meth lab equipment.

Police say the suspect was arrested after he drove by the home and tried to run over officers.
