POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KMOX) –  An update now on a story KMOX News brought you last week.

Police in Poplar Bluff say they’ve now arrested 29-year-old Reyna Kibo-Gue in connection with last week’s attempted robbery of a woman at knife-point.

Susan Bruner had reported that on the morning of Tuesday, March 20th, a woman armed with a knife got in a car and forced her to drive to an ATM.

Once there, Kibo-Gue was unable to get cash from the automated teller, but took off after stealing about $100 from Bruner.

On Tuesday, police officers acting on a tip responded to a home on Kentucky Ave. in Poplar Bluff and found Kibo-Gue hiding under a bed in a child’s bedroom.

She was jailed on charges of kidnapping, 1st degree robbery and armed criminal action in connection with last week’s incident.

Kibo-Gue had also been sought by the Missouri Department of Corrections for a parole violation.
