ST. JOHN, Mo. (AP)- The president of a St. Louis-area roofing company is accused of secretly videotaping a woman who lived at his home-based business.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 59-year-old Mark Barnstead of St. John is accused in St. Louis County Circuit Court of five misdemeanor counts of invasion of privacy.

Police say in court documents that over at least a 10-month stretch, Barnstead recorded several videos of the woman nude in her bedroom at the address of his St. Louis Slate and Tile Roofing company.

The woman reported the matter to police after finding the videos on a computer.

The relationship between Barnstead and the woman isn’t clear.

Barnstead’s lawyer isn’t commenting publicly, saying that doing so would violate attorney-client privilege.

Barnstead is free on bond.
