RED BUD, Ill. (AP) — An engineering company says it is expanding its southern Illinois operations, which could result in the addition of as many as four dozen jobs.

St. Louis’ KSDK-TV reports that Integrated Manufacturing Technologies expects to spend $3 million on the 45,000-square-foot expansion of its operation in Red Bud in Randolph County.

The company builds components for modular, pre-assembled manufacturing facilities.

IMT founder Rudi Roelslein says he expects to add roughly 50 jobs over the next two to three years as the company targets global distribution.

Red Bud is about 40 miles southeast of St. Louis.
