ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The operator of an in-home healthcare agency pleads guilty to ripping off Medicare.
51-year-old Rose Ray-Vasser with Blessed Hands Home Health Services in north St. Louis pled guilty Tuesday to felony health care fraud.
She admitted that over a five-year period she paid patients for the use of their names and vital information to submit false reimbursement claims for services that were never rendered.
Ray-Vasser faces up to 10 years in prison and her company could be fined $500,000 during a sentencing hearing in November.
