ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Beginning Friday night, all lanes and ramps on Interstate 64/40 will be closed in both directions between Hampton Ave. and Forest Park Parkway.

The closure begins at 8 p.m. Friday and is expected to end by 3 a.m. Monday, April 1, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

One eastbound lane will remain open between Hampton Ave. and Kingshighway Blvd.

The ramps from McCausland/Skinker, Hampton and Kingshighway to eastbound I-64 will be shut down during this time. In addition, the ramps from Pine, Jefferson, Market and Grand to westbound I-64 will not be accessible during the closure.

Eastbound traffic will be detoured southbound on Hampton, to eastbound I-44 and back to the Poplar Street Bridge. Westbound traffic will be detoured to Forest Park Avenue, to southbound Kingshighway and back to westbound I-64.
