MONTGOMERY, Ala. (KMOX) – A former assistant coach for the football Cardinals has died.
Mal Moore served under Gene Stallings, both in St. Louis and Arizona.
Moore’s name is legendary in the state of Alabama. He won ten national championships as a player, coach and administrator for the Crimson Tide.
The 73-year-old was Alabama’s athletic director until becoming sick with respiratory problems in early March.
