An early-morning shooting outside an east side nightclub has sent a man to a St. Louis hospital with bullet wounds in the neck and back.
Police say it happened shortly before 5 Saturday morning outside the Bottoms Up strip club in Brooklyn, Illinois.
When police rolled up the gunman took off in gray Dodge S-U-V with Missouri plates.
Police pursued but the gunman and his passenger got away.
They were last seen speeding into St. Louis.
