ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who robbed a 90-year-old man at gunpoint Monday.

Surveillance photos (shown left and below) were taken of the suspect around 9 a.m.

Police say the victim was entering his garage in the 5200 block of S. Grand when the suspect approached him. After a brief struggle, the suspect escaped on foot with the man’s money.

The 90-year-old victim suffered minor injuries in the attack.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5’8″ to 5’9″, thin build and ran with a limp.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS. All calls are anonymous. Callers may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1000.
