GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KMOX) — Charges are expected today for the man suspected of killing a 13-year-old as he sat on a porch with friends in Granite City late Wednesday.

“We believe that the subject had walked past there a couple of times prior to the it (the shooting) and then shots rang out,” said Major Connor.
Clayton was shot in the side and died after running down the street to a friend’s home for help.
