CLAYTON, Mo. (KMOX) — Charges were filed against the man responsible for the hit-and-run that killed 2-year-old Darrion Griffin and injured his 17-year-old relative.

After being arrested Monday, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged 17-year-old Charles Guice with one count of Leaving the Scene of an Accident, which is a class D felony.

A $50,000 bond was set for Guice.

This all comes after St. Louis County police responded for a person struck in the 1500 block of Redman Road just after 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Police found the white SUV Guice was driving in the 440 block of Carter Avenue on Monday. Guice turned himself in to police the next day after hearing police were searching for him.
