SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) — Headliners at this year’s Illinois State Fair are making hundreds of thousands of dollars.
State records show top acts like Toby Keith, John Mayer and Journey will each get $300,000. They’ll also share a chunk of the gross box office receipts from their shows.
Pop star Ke$ha will receive $200,000. The Band Perry’s contract is for $125,000.
Other acts include Billy Currington earning $80,000, Gary Allan bringing in $75,000 and Styx will receive more than $73,000.
Gary Allan performs Friday night, Ke$ha is on Saturday night and Journey closes the fair on Sunday.
